The Pintsch Bubenzer SF-series is particularly suited as a secondary emergency brake on hoist gears and on downhill conveyor, due to its high capacity. Further applications are possible in material handling, requiring power and compact design in either direction of rotation, particularly in replacing band brakes. Some of the SF-series brake features include;
- Two identical calliper halves, ready for operation when spring set is set to nominal force and limit switch control,
- Easy, manual pad wear compensation, and,
- Up to 2mm air gap between brake pad and disc.
